The calm before the big weekend storm was here and it was a really fun game. The teams came out ready to play and they did an awesome job (some of them), but all had fun. After the halftime question it was BnL in the lead just ahead of Beer and a Shot.   The second half everyone was pretty consistent and got through the game keeping it pretty close. Going into the final question it was BnL still in the lead with It Was A Good Night hot on their heels. The final question was about Lynard Skynard songs and when they were released. It was a weird final as only one team wagered 20 and most of the other teams wagered zero hoping the top teams would slip up. A very busy game tonight with 12 teams coming out to play with several new teams as well. Always a fun night with a packed house and the teams kept it pretty close through the whole game. After our halftime question about Led Zeppelin it was Just Add Water with a narrow lead over Beer and a Shot.   The second half the teams did much better than I thought they were going to. The scores fluctuated some but really everyone was still in it all the way to the end. Going into the final question it was The Other Team with the lead, but Beer and a Shot were hot on their heels. The final question was about The queens grandkids and a lot of teams came up with the correct order. A fun night of trivia tonight as the teams all came out ready to play. The first half flew by and it was a pretty close game. After the halftime question it was It Was A Good Night just ahead of Don't Call Us Old.   The second half there are always shake ups and this game was no different. Going into The final question Don't Call Us Old had taken the lead over the other teams but just barely. A fun night tonight with a surprise team coming up to claim victory. The first half went like most other first halves with the teams keeping it close. After the halftime question it was LRR in first after a little score altering and 2 teams tied right behind them.   The second half is when things all went south for a lot of teams. Answers started drying up and teams were desperate to get some points on the board. Going into the final question it was Short Bus in the lead with LRR just a couple points behind. The final was about when some companies went out of business. A packed house tonight as the summer winds down. A really fun and competitive game though so it kept everyone excited the whole way through. After the halftime question it was Indy Six Pack just ahead of Don't Call Us Old, the battle of Independence was on.   The second half we always see ups and downs and this wasn't any different as some top teams fell back and others moved their way up the score board. Going into the final question it was Don't Call Us Old with a narrow lead over Pass the Salt. The final was tough and only one team came up with the correct answer and that is usually a good sign. Not so crowded tonight so we could focus in on a very serious game of trivia. A game so serious that the winner received a gift card and the losers went home with…nothing! The game started like any other and honestly it ended that way too, just a normal game. After the halftime question it was LRR ahead of It Was A Good Night.   The second have there were a few mix ups, but nothing that kept anyone out of the running for first place. Going into the final it was LRR just a point ahead of Short Bus. It would all come down to bands and how much they made on tour. A really nice night out, perfect for some trivia. The game started as most do with a close affair. The teams seem to like to keep it tight in the first half and then shoot their shot in the second half. After the halftime question it was Brain Dead just a couple points ahead of the Last Chancery.   The second half is much more frantic as the questions get a little bit harder and the teams start to spread apart in the rankings. Going into tonight's final question it was again Brain Dead just a couple points ahead of Pass The Salt. Tonight's final question was a tough one about Elvis songs and movies. So tough that only one team got it correct.
