Georgetown Arenas Trivia

When I got to Arena's there was almost no one there. The teams came rolling in though as we quickly had a packed house. The first half of the game it was very tight. The teams all had their eyes set on the prize and it was up for grabs to everyone. After the halftime question it was Don't Call Us Old Just ahead of the other teams. The second half we saw a lot of teams on the move some up, and some down. The game was pretty wild as it came down to the final couple of questions. The Other Team had taken the lead and it would come down to the final for them to be dethroned. The final was about movie releases in the late 90's and some teams knew more about that then the others. A couple teams came up with the correct answer and a 20 point wager, but no other team came farther than Don't Call Us Old as they had a correct answer and a 20 point wager making them the big winners for the night.   Here is your top 5   5-The Other Team 4-Underage...

Just Like Mr. Gump said you never know what you are going to get! Today the room was pretty empty and then the teams came pouring in. The first half is always fun and the teams run up the scores. After the first half it was "It Was a Good Night" in first place with a couple teams tied for second.   The second half got weird and the teams were all over the place and it was a really a toss up for who was going to come out on top. Going into the final it was BnL with a narrow lead. The place was absolutely empty when I got there and I thought we weren't even going to have a game. The teams came pouring in through and we ended with a good 7 teams to start the night! After the first half of the game it was Low Expectations with a narrow lead over the teams and everyone was within striking distance of the top spot.   The second half we saw some shake ups and many teams moving up and down. Going into the final question it was Ignorant Lads in the lead, but BnL was right on their heels. A packed house tonight with a few new teams and plenty of regulars in attendance. The first half went by without a hitch as the teams all had a pretty good run of correct answers. After the halftime question it was a three-way tie for first place with Gazpacho Police, Picklers and Just Add water all at the top of the list.   The second half we always see the teams rise and fall and going into the final question it was still anyone's game. The final was a little tricky, but a couple teams came up with the correct answer and solid wagers. Its finally starting to get warm outside and the teams needed a break from their outside activities and decided to come in and play some trivia. The first half we saw some good scores and none was more surprising that our leader after the halftime question it was Dan's Only Fans.   The second half there was a ton of movement as the game got a little harder, some of the teams did not react well. Still going into the final question it was anyone's game. Orange Crush had a narrow lead, but the final did its job as someone from down in the pack came up with the correct answer and a 20 point wager. Another great Thursday in the books and the teams came out ready to play. The first half of the game was fast and furious as the teams were close all night long. After the halftime question it was Village People and Just Add Water in a tie for first.   It would take the whole second have to declare a winner as no team pulled away in this one. Tres Amigos had a narrow lead over Village People and Just Add Water who were still all tied up, this time for second place. The final question was tough and not a lot of teams could come up with the correct answer…except one! 9 teams came out tonight and were all ready to go head to head to walk away the big winner. The first half they all actually kept it very close. After the halftime question it was BnL just 1 point ahead of three other teams tied right behind them.   The second half there were some changes all throughout the scoreboard. There were some tricky questions, but the teams all kept it together. Going into the final question it was Crazy 8 Minus 2 in a narrow lead.
