I had to be out last week, but I was back with a vengeance this week. The first half of the game the teams kept it close and they were all in the game. After the halftime question it was Shore Losers with an early lead, but all of the teams were within striking distance. The second half of the game was more of the same as all of the teams kept it really close throughout the whole night. Going into the final question it was still Shore Losers with the narrowest of leads. The final question was about things that happened in the early 2000's. Two teams came up with the correct answer and wagered 20 points and they were both from back in the pack. Tonight though belonged to Just Add Water who came out as the big winners. A packed house tonight and this time it was just all trivia team! The first half was kind of all over the place. Teams came up with some tricky answers and then missed some of the answers I thought they would get. It just shows you never know when I t is going to be your night. After the Halftime question it was Hogs Breath with the narrow lead over Miltonians.   The second half we saw teams shift around on the scoreboard. Going into the final question it was LRR with the lead. The final question was about events in the 1980's and when they took place. A bunch of teams came up with the correct answer, but when the dust settled there were two teams still tied. Hogs Breath and The Other Team had one more question to see who would come out on top. The tie breaker was about how much forest covers the USA. The Other Team came out on top this week making them the big winners. The night started as packed as I have ever seen it. For some reason a fundraiser was scheduled for the same night and some teams couldn't even get a seat. Once we got under way the place started to clear out and we could finally get down to some trivia. The first half was close with all the teams within striking distance. Hogs breath held the early lead though. The second half we saw some mix ups and it was a closer game all the way till the end. Going into the final it was again Hogs Breath with the lead, but every team was still in striking distance. For the final question it was all about the ages of some aging rockers. Hogs breath just could not be beaten tonight though as they came up with the correct answer and just enough points to pull out the win. Another busy night, though instead of freezing it was 60 degrees and no one knows how to dress anymore. The game flew by with some really good scores and a couple that were setting themselves up for a comeback. After the halftime question it was Shore Losers with the early lead. The second half it was anyones game still since no one had run away with this one. Going into the final question it was still Shore Losers with Dazed and Confused hot on their heels. Tonight's final was about state capitals and their location east to west. It was a tough one and only one team came up with the correct answer, but they wagered zero points. So it would all come down to wagers and tonight it was all Shore Losers as they came up with the win. Another packed house despite the impending doom of an upcoming storm. 11 teams cam out to play tonight and this one would come all the way down to the wire. The first half was close the way through and it would be Don't Call Us Old with the narrow 1 point lead going into the second half. In the second half we saw some ups and downs all the way through mixing up the rankings, but still keeping things close and giving anyone a chance to win in the end. The Sharks had the lead going into our candy based final question. A few teams came up with the correct answer though that was not enough to finish off the game as Hogs Breath and Don't Call Us Old finished in a tie. We cant have it end that way so a tie breaker was the way to go and tonight Don't Call Us Old squeaked out the win! An Absolute packed house tonight no tables left unattended.  A really fun game that came all the way down to the wire! The first half flew by with the teams doing pretty well, and a couple not so much. After the halftime question it was Shore Losers in the early lead with just one point over Hogs Breath. The second half of the game we saw some teams surge forward. Like most games it would always come down to the final question. Even after a whole game played any team could still come out the winner. First game of the new year is always a fun thing! 9 teams came out to play today and it was close all the way to the end. There was some confusion about the halftime question and what exactly the word alphabetically means. After the halftime question it was Don't Call Us Old with an early lead. The second half is always tricky with the teams moving into position and getting ready for the final push of the game. Everyone was close when it came to the end. Hogs Breath had the lead going into the final question. It was anyones game as long as they knew the size of the states at the four corners.
