Let's Do Trivia - Arena's Georgetown - 2/9/23

The groundhog said there would be more winter and then it was almost 70 degrees out, so I guess we can't trust varmints for our weather predictions anymore. What is this world coming to? Tonight's game was pretty close as the teams played pretty smart and had a bunch of correct answers. After the halftime question it was Don't Call Us Old ahead of a 3-way tie for second.

 

The second half of the game we saw the teams come even closer and it would really come down to the wire. Going into the final Don't Call Us Old had a solid lead over the other teams so it would all come down to a question about driving distances to Las Vegas. Two Teams came up with the correct answer, the catch was that they were now tied for first place, so we had to have a tie breaker. Just Add Water was so much closer in the tie breaker answer giving them the big win over Fifth Place tonight.

When I arrived at Arena's there was not a person in the place, I thought maybe I had the wrong day. The teams filled up quickly though as we went into a really fun night. After the halftime question it was LRR in the early lead. The second half the teams were settling into the flow and were ready to make the final push to winning glory. Going into the final question though we had a 3-way tie for first place between LRR, Don't Call Us Old and Dan's OnlyFans. The final was tricky and no team had the correct answer so it would all come down to wagering and tonight it was Don't Call Us Old that came in the top spot. Let's Do Trivia - Arena's Georgetown - 8/15/24

A large group at trivia tonight as the teams all came out to test their wits. The first half was really close and only 8 points separated first from last after the halftime question. There was a tie at the top with Miltonians and Underwhelmers. The second half we saw some folks move up and others slide down the board a little bit. Going into the final the Underwhelmers were in the lead, but every teams was still in striking distance. Though tonight it was all about the underwhelners as they had the lead all night and wagered 20 and had the correct answer giving them the dominating win. Arena's At The Airport! - Let's Do Trivia! - 5/11/25

It was another exciting Thursday night of Let's Do Trivia at Arena's at the Airport in Georgetown! Three competitive teams showed up ready to test their knowledge and battle for the win. From the start, Don't Call Us Old came out strong, taking the lead in the first half with 33 points, followed closely by Miltonians with 30 and Trivia Persuers with 28. At halftime, Don't Call Us Old held onto their lead with 39 points, while Miltonians trailed close behind with 36, and Trivia Persuers stayed in the game with 34. But the second half was where things really heated up. Miltonians surged ahead, ending the round with 62 points, just edging out Don't Call Us Old , who finished with 61. Trivia Persuers put up a solid fight, finishing the round with 57. When all the points were tallied, Miltonians secured the win and took home the $40 prize!
